How Strategic Anchor Polling Works

How It Works

Strategic Anchor is designed to make high-quality audience research practical, focused, and easy to commission.

1

Define the Objective

Tell us what decision you are trying to make, what uncertainty you want to reduce, or what assumption you want to test.

2

Define the Audience

Identify the population that matters. Depending on the research objective and available targeting, this may be defined by geography, demographics, interests, context, or other relevant audience characteristics.

3

Develop the Questions

A Strategic Anchor poll contains up to three questions. Questions are kept concise and neutral, with wording reviewed to reduce ambiguity and avoid unnecessary leading effects.

4

Field the Poll

The polling unit is distributed through digital paid-media inventory. Respondents answer directly in the digital experience, without the friction of a long external questionnaire.

5

Analyse the Results

Completed responses are checked, organised and interpreted in the context of the original research objective. Headline results are separated from reasonable strategic interpretation so the evidence is not overstated.

6

Deliver the Findings

The client receives a concise research output showing what was asked, who was reached, what respondents said and what the findings may mean for the decision at hand.

7

Repeat When Needed

Strategic Anchor can be repeated to test a new message, compare audiences, revisit an issue or observe directional change over time.
